Intermediate Full Stack Developer (m/f/d)

Your

Responsibilities:

  • Developing new features for our web application that manages PreonLab simulations and analyzes the results
  • Reviewing code and providing constructive feedback about the team’s contributions to the codebase(s)
  • Ensuring the reliability of the application everywhere that it’s deployed
  • Maintaining our web app through all stages of the product cycle
  • Communicating with other teams to improve company effectiveness
  • Investigating and understanding user needs to optimize the user experience
  • Mentoring junior developers in less technical areas of software development: design principles and patterns, communication, architectures, etc.
You

have:

  • Completed studies in a computing-adjacent field and/or sufficient experience in a related industry
  • Experience level “intermediate”: 3+ years of experience working with web technologies, preferably in an agile(-ish) workflow
  • Advanced knowledge of and professional experience with Python, Django, Angular, PostgreSQL, Celery
  • An understanding that documentation, testing, and a focus on usability are the only way your code will ever be useful
  • Optionally, experience with Docker, nginx, WebGL (ThreeJS), GitLab CI, C++
